Social Awareness Centre (SAC) Nepal is an NGO dedicated to uphold the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through its interventions on Health, Education, Livelihood, Protection and Climate Change, Disaster Management and Humanitarian Support including Organizational Development and GEDSI. It works with a vision for capable and prosperous society for quality life of women, children and adolescents. SAC Nepal is implementing the different 10 projects partnership with different partners. The projects covered all 10 districts of Karnali Province.  

SAC Nepal is implementing Pathways tO Wellbeing, Empowerment and Resilience for Adolescents and Youths (POWER4AY) partnership with Save the Children in Birendranagar Municipality and Barahtal Rural Municipality of Surkhet district. For the projects, SAC Nepal invites applications from interested, qualified, and professional Nepali candidates for the following full-time position.

Position: Project Coordinator  

Required No.: 1 (One) 

Duty Station: Central Office, Birendranagar, Surkhet (with frequently field visit in project area)

Required qualification, experience, skill and knowledge

• Bachelors in development studies and at least 2 years project management experience 
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good leading skills and staff mobilization as well as motivation. 
• Proficient in documentation, case study, report writing.

Purpose of Job

The objective of the position is overall leading the project. Communication and coordination with partners, local government, key stakeholders, CSOs and others will be done by this position. Program planning, effective implementation, ensure burn rate, monitoring and support to subordinate staff for their effective performance. Please go through the below link for JD)

Position: Social Mobilizer

Required No. 2 (Two) (One for each Palika (Birendranagar and Barahtal) (only for locals and females)

Duty Station: Birendranagar Municipality and Barahtal Rural Municipality, Surkhet

Required qualification, experience, skill and knowledge

• +2 or equivalent completed with at least 2 years working experience in same field
• Facilitation and coordination skills
• Working experience in education, livelihood and IGA 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Report writing and case study writing  
• Willingness and dedication to work in the field.

Purpose of Job

The objective of the position is group formation, mobilization, facilitation, as well as coordination among stakeholders in local level. (Please go through the below link for JD)
