Dalit Welfare Organization (DWO) established in 1994, is a NGO works for Dalit and Marginalized community's rights and development in Nepal. It has 30 years of working experience in Nepal to establish a just society by eliminating caste based discrimination and untouchability and achieve social, economic, education empowerment, development and safe life from Climate Change effects and DRR of Dalits and other Marginalized groups of Nepal. It has presence in 7 provinces and 56 districts across Nepal.

DWO is recruiting vacant position of Project Coordinator LISEC-Phase 2 project based in DWO Salyan and fieldwork for both Dang and Salyan districts. We request to apply from experienced, capable, highly motivated and committed to provide longer time for the project. The details of the vacancy is as given below:

Designation: Project Coordinator

Duty station: DWO Salyan

Key responsibilities:

• To provide technical support on agriculture, livestock and agro-based livelihood activities, practice Climate Change resilience, skill-based training, income generation activities, GESI and community capacity building.
• To engage in designing, planning and effective implementation of project at project areas, regular field visits and ensure the quality of project activities.
• To develop project proposals, concept notes, guideline documents, different events and periodic reports, and maintain database reports.
• To carry out managerial and administrative tasks for the project, including staff and budget mobilization, teamwork, communication, coordination and networking.
• To coordinate and collaborate with local stakeholders and governments and create a local fund for community groups.
• To coordinate and communicate with the DWO team, central office and donors.
• To perform Agriculture technical support.

Eligibility criteria and qualification requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Science (BSc.Ag) with at least two years' work experience in livelihood, food security, climate change or economic empowerment, or related sector or a Master's degree in Agriculture Science with at least one year of relevant field at least officer level work experience. 
2. Experience in project management: project planning, reporting and documentation, staff mobilization, monitoring and evaluation, and budget management.
3. Perform some field surveys, data collection and management in KOBO, SPSS and other appropriate tools.
4. Proficiency in English writing and speaking.
5. Excellent computer skills, especially office programs.
6. Strong presentation and group facilitation skills.
7. Strong communication and team building skills, including new communication technology.
8. Demonstrable experience of MEAL and presentation skills.
9. Motivation and ability to conduct frequent field visits and community facilitation.
10. A passion for community development.
11. Driving license for a motor bike/scooter.
12. No any criminal cases, discrimination and violence over children, women, Dalits, PWDs etc.
