Since then, IRDS is fully dedicated to work in humanitarian assistance, community development, livelihood, child well-being, and environmental protection mainly in the Terai region of Nepal through the humanitarian and long-term development projects.

In partnership with World Vision International Nepal, IRDS Mahottari initiate working on “Integrated Nutrition and Resilient Livelihood (INRL)” in two Rural Municipality Ekdara and Samsi Rural Municipality.  IRDS Mahottari is seeking qualified, dynamic and motivated Nepali citizens on following positions.

1.

Programme Officer- Nutrition

(1- Nos.)

Bachelor’s degree in public health or in any relevant discipline with at least 3 years of experience in Nutrition Sector

  • Sector knowledge on maternal child health and nutrition (Infant and Young Child Feeding practices (IYCF), Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM), Maternal and infant young child nutrition (MIYCN), Multi sector Nutrition Plan (MSNP))
  • Government policies, strategies and training packages (Comprehensive Nutrition Package)
  • Informed and able to disseminate WVIN NRL TP and priorities, core project model Positive Deviance Hearth (PDH) and Citizen Voice and Action (CVA)) – Highly Desirable
  • Sound knowledge on behavior change communication approaches, Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) approach
  • Stakeholders mapping skills for broader benefit of the project
  • Good facilitation and documentation skills (meeting, orientation, training)
  • Capacity to identify local advocacy issues around NRL programming
  • Produce database monitoring and interpretation skill
  • Presentation skills in different forum and network
  • Knowledge around CP and CFLG/NFLG mechanism at the local level
  • Two-wheeler driving license-[Preferred]

MEAL Officer

Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or in any relevant discipline with at least 2 years of work experiences in related field

  • Ensure data quality of all the programme and ensure that all data are recorded in system within timeframe
  • Verify the data to ensure that the primary source (paper-based recording) match with digital system
  • Monitor project activities, produce and submit monthly report with action plan
  • Carry out quality outcome and quality monitoring and submit reports
  • Ensure that all the staffs are utilizing the QBM system action plan are tracked in periodic basis
  • Handle different MEAL system - Commcare, Field Task
  • Support programme team in documenting the most significant changes made by the programme
  • Develop tools to collect the information against indicator
  • Produce database monitoring and interpretation skill
  • Demonstrate collaboration & team building skills
  • Presentation skills in different forum and network
  • Effective written and oral communications skills including presentation and reporting skills
  • Computer and Technology literacy; Good computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
  • Two-wheeler driving license-[Preferred]
