Heifer Project Nepal (HPN) is a non-profit, humanitarian organization dedicated to ending hunger and poverty and caring for earth by providing livestock, education, and other resources to help poor families become self-reliant. HPN invites applications from eligible Nepali citizens for the following position:

Program Officer -Model Dairy Village - 1

Major Roles and Responsibility:

The program officer will be responsible for implementing the project activities at the field level envisioned in the Activity “Model Dairy Village” under Milky Way Signature Programme partially funded by KOICA through Heifer Korea. S/he will be responsible for planning project implementation as per the project document, coordinating with stakeholders, and report periodic progress in the prescribed format. S/he shall be also responsible for maintaining highest standard in implementing project activities.

Educational Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Agri-engineering or any other relevant field with at least 3 years of previous job experience of similar nature is required or Master’s Degree in Agri-engineering or any other relevant field with one year of experience.

Preferred Requirements:

Familiar with biogas, water supply system, and livestock farming
