Program Manager

The Nepal Mahila Bishwasi Sangh (NMBS) is a non-governmental organization established and registered as a not-for-profit entity in 1995 at the District Administration Office in Kathmandu. The organization is affiliated with the Social Welfare Council of Nepal. NMBS is dedicated to advancing the rights and well-being of women, girls, and children. The organization strives to achieve human rights, health, security, dignity, freedom, justice, and peace for all individuals.

NMBS is implementing the "EmpowHER" project in association with Horyzon (Switzerland), aiming to strengthen young women's leadership skills to promote advocacy of Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR), gender equality, economic empowerment, human rights and the prevention of gender-based violence (GBV). To accomplish this, EmpowHER implements activities aligned with three mutually interrelated objectives: to develop leadership skills on SRHR, gender equality, economic empowerment and human rights among young women and girls at the central level (Objective-1); to increase advocacy awareness and education on SRHR, gender equality, economic empowerment and human rights for your women and girls (Objective-2) and to recruit champions of young women who will promote respectful intergenerational leadership. The project is specifically focused on young women's leadership regarding SRHR, gender equality, economic empowerment, human rights and the prevention of gender-based violence.  

NMBS is seeking a result-oriented, strategic and young female professional (aged 26-40 years) with at least 5 years of experience in Project Cycle Management, leadership training, gender equality, economic empowerment and human rights.
