Justice and Rights Institute- Nepal (JuRI Nepal) was established in 2011 working as a non-profit organization and responds to the existing and emerging human rights, accountability and good governance concerns, upholding the principles of human rights, gender equality, cherishing diversity, advocating zero-tolerance of any violence, discrimination and corruption, works independence of any political influence and corporate interest. It brings together human rights professionals with an extensive experience in human rights, the rule of law, gender, inclusion, disability, and social justice. JuRI-Nepal aims to create a fair, just, and inclusive democratic society where everyone can enjoy their human rights.

JuRI- Nepal is implementing the project titled ‘Law and Policies for Women, Youth, Dalit, and Marginalized Communities in Madhesh and Lumbini Provinces of Nepal’ in partnering with The Asia Foundation under the Civil Society and Media Activity supported by the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The project aims to support independent civil society and media led by and for women, youth, and marginalized (WYM) communities to advance public interest, fundamental freedoms, and accountability. Under this project we are looking for potential Nepalese candidates to fill the position.

JuRI -Nepal hereby invites applications for the below mentioned position, from interested professionals.

Position:  Program Finance Officer – 1 (Full Time)

Duty Station: JuRI-Nepal Office, Jwagal Lalitpur with frequent visits to the project locations

Duration: 11 months.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Management or related filed with two years related work experience or Bachelor’s degree in management with minimum 5 years’ working experience in the relevant position.
  • Knowledge and experience to operate accounting software (especially FAMAS)
  • Familiarity with USAID programs and compliance will be added advantage

This position will take lead to prepare budget plan, financial reporting, providing logistic support, event organizing, reporting, drafting quarterly report and financial monitoring to ensure effective implementation of the project, ensure donor compliance and support to implement the project. Monthly Gross Salary: NRs.75,996/- (including all benefits)
