About Organization

Bethany Vision Nepal (BEVIN) is a non-governmental organization committed to preserving families and protecting children. BEVIN envisions “every child in a loving, caring, and stable family” and works to prevent, rescue, and care for vulnerable children. The Alternative Care and Reintegration Project addresses the needs of survivors of abuse, trafficking, and exploitation by providing residential care, trauma counseling, education, job training, legal aid, and medical care. The positions are based in project office at Lalitpur Metropolitician 3, Dhohighat, Lalitpur.

Positions:

1. Program Coordinator (PC): 1 Person

The Program Coordinator (PC) is a full-time position dedicated to supporting BEVIN’s project management initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chairperson, the PC plays a pivotal role in ensuring organizational program and child protection.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation and management of the project including approvals from government and other stakeholders. 
  • Provide overall leadership to the staffs, lead and train to make annual and periodic plans. Provide constructive feedbacks to staff reports.
  • Make coordination with the national child rights council, national children at risk center, municipalities and other related stakeholders, for rescue and restoration of children. 
  • Act as s focal person for NCRC and its agencies. Send a regular report as requested by them.
  • Lead ‘child protection committee’ meetings. Respond to any abuses or concern of abuses reported by survivors, staff, volunteers etc. following the Child Protection Policy.
  • Provide support to stakeholders and social workers during the rescue operation.
  • Testify in court concerning a rescued victim and her status if required.
  • Coordinate crises care for each survivor’s family and make referrals to other organization that can provide supports to the survivor’s family.
  • Provide reports to board as requested.
  • Maintain confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Science or related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in project leadership level.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, teamwork, and multitasking.
  • Language: Fluent in English and Nepali.

2. Admin & Finance Officer (AFO): 1 person

The Admin & Finance Officer (AFO) is a full-time role supporting BEVIN’s financial management, accounting, and administrative tasks. Reporting to the Program Coordinator, the AFO ensures the organization maintains transparency, accountability, and robust internal control systems while assisting with financial and administrative planning. The role requires passion for working with children, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage financial tasks, including maintaining books of accounts, filing, documentation, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Oversee payments, reconcile accounts, handle petty cash, and ensure timely disbursal of salaries.
  • Conduct banking duties, vendor management, and procurement processes.
  • Support audits, prepare financial reports, and follow up on recommendations.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as vehicle log maintenance, stock inventory, and office logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and tax obligations and assist in donor audits.
  • Undertake purchases of product and services according to organization’s policy.
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism in all duties.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounts or related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in financial and administrative roles.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, teamwork, and multitasking; knowledge of FAMAS software preferred.
  • Language: Fluent in English and Nepali.
