Job Description

Sajha Dhago is a non-profit distributing company established in 2022 working in mental health and psychosocial support sector. It provides a unique group (psychological recovery) program for survivors of sexual and gender-based violence, natural disasters, war/conflict, and displacement. It incorporates traditional practices with current trauma-based treatment intervention which allows access to treatment and flexibility in a variety of cultural contexts for trauma survivors. The program coordinator is responsible for the program and staff management with following responsibilities and duties.

Major Responsibilities/Duties:

• Assist in planning, reviewing design, and implementation of activities in the project.
• Coordination with municipalities, province and federal level government, and other concerned stakeholders.
• Work in close coordination with the project field team to facilitate training and clinical supervision of different layers of PSS service providers (i.e. PS Counselors, Health workers, etc.)
• Take lead to organize training and refresher courses for the mental health workers.
• Prepare events reports, conduct context analysis, and prepare reports.
• Take initiatives for fund-raising opportunities and interactions with donors
• Provide regular monthly, quarterly, and annual plans and reports to the chairperson
• Participate in different concern meetings, workshops, training, etc.
• Involve in data analysis, systematic reviews and publication, and perform other tasks as assigned by the organization.

Requirement/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Social Work or a related field; MA is preferred.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of working experience in psychosocial field or non-profit sector.
• Must have ability to work in team
• Must be self-motivated and proactive for project implementation
• Should have ability to work remotely if required.
• Valid driving license (2 wheeler) and willingness to travel in field
• Should have good communication and writing skills in both English and Nepali.

As per the provision of Sajha Dhago policy.
