Operation Officer
Details / requirements:
A fast-growing cross-border e-commerce startup operating in the Middle East and Europe, with a team in Kathmandu, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented operation officer to support its expansion.
Responsibilities:
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues via chat and email.
Process orders, returns, and exchanges.
Escalate complex issues as needed.
Follow up with suppliers to track and expedite pending orders.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and supplier follow-ups.
Support the content team with content creation tasks as needed.
Identify and escalate complex or high-priority issues to the appropriate departments.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve processes and customer service standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA/BBS) or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service.
Proven experience in customer service or operations.
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Able to articulate mails and messages from customers and reply
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with Google Sheets and MS Excel.
Knowledge of content creation tools and practices is a plus.
Must be comfortable working the night shift.
Must have a laptop.
