Details / requirements:
- Utilizing Node.js, create, manage, and enhance scalable backend applications.
- Function alongside frontend developers to incorporate server-side logic with user-facing components to ensure smooth data interchange, create and implement RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Write effective, tested, and reusable code by adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Oversee and implement database management systems such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and fix software problems.
- Take part in all stages of software development, including design, testing, deployment, and planning.
- Assure backend applications' scalability and security.
- Participate in sprint planning and code reviews while working in an Agile setting.
- Proven expertise in Node.js backend programming (minimum 3+ years).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any other related field.
- Relevant certifications in Node.js or backend development will be a plus point.
- A solid grasp of asynchronous programming ideas including JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Knowledge of contemporary frameworks such as Hapi.js, Nest.js, and Express.js.
- Skilled in database administration and design, including MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Git and other version control systems.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
- It is advantageous to have knowledge of cloud systems such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulousness.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
- Develop applications in micro services architecture, make it scalable and integrate with other applications if required.
- Should be able to integrate with Django applications if required
- Experience in development of large ecommerce and web applications will be beneficial
