It works for disadvantaged, marginalized, deprived groups, including GBV survivors, people with disabilities, children, adolescents, girls, and young women, while promoting quality education and child-friendly learning.
In partnership with Plan International Nepal, RKJS is implementing the Girls Standing Strong (GSS) Project in four municipalities of Bardiya: Barabardiya, Thakurbaba, Rajapur, and Geruwa Rural Municipality. The project focuses on capacity building, changing social norms, and system strengthening to ensure the rights of children, adolescents, girls, and young women to live with dignity in developmental and humanitarian settings.
Position Title: Monitoring, Evaluation, and Documentation Officer (MEDO)
Location: Bardiya

Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring and Data Collection:
Regularly track and gather data to assess the progress of ongoing projects or programs. This includes designing data collection tools, conducting field visits, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Evaluation and Impact Assessment:
Analyze collected data to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of projects. Provide evidence-based insights and recommendations to improve strategies, methodologies, and outcomes.
Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare detailed reports, case studies, and success stories to document program progress and lessons learned. Ensure that documentation meets organizational and donor requirements.
Capacity Building and Training:
Train and support staff or partners in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) processes, data collection techniques, and reporting standards to build organizational capacity in M&E practices.
Development of M&E Frameworks and Tools:
Design and implement M&E frameworks, logical frameworks (logframes), and performance indicators to ensure systematic and measurable tracking of goals and objectives.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a related area.
- Experience in designing, database management, implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and documenting project frameworks.
- Preferred experience in database management.
- Competence in computer skills, especially advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, SPSS, and other database platforms.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Nepali.
- Experience in team leadership and coordination.
- Experience in research and database management.
