Tarangini Foundation is seeking a dedicated and experienced Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator to lead and strengthen our MEAL systems across all program sectors. The MEAL Coordinator will provide strategic oversight and technical leadership, ensuring data-driven decision-making to improve program quality and accountability. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and optimize a coherent MEAL system, including approaches, procedures, and structures across all sectors.
- Provide strategic direction for MEAL systems to align with organizational goals, ensuring that data collection and analysis is gender-sensitive.
- Lead the development of proposal log frames, indicators, and measurement methodologies.
- Conduct regular Project Data Quality Audits and provide coaching to staff to ensure compliance with MEAL procedures.
- Conduct frequent field visits to assess program quality, ensuring compliance with MEAL procedures.
- Validate, analyze, and utilize data to recommend corrective actions for project and program improvements.
- Lead the development of learning documents that challenge unequal gender and power relations, promoting transformative change.
- Monitor project activities and financial status monthly, ensuring alignment with planned activities and log frames.
- Validate data in program reports and prepare mid-term and annual MEAL progress reports.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to prepare and update MEAL tools and standards.
- Works on close coordination and collaboration with the partner and sister organization.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Demography, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, with proficiency in MEAL tools and software.
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, monitoring, and reporting.
- Experience in gender-sensitive MEAL approaches and understanding of feminist methodologies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to social justice, intersectionality, and empowerment.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
