Community Development & Advocacy Forum Nepal (CDAFN) is a NGO dedicated to uphold the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through its interventions on Health, Education, Livelihood, Protection and Climate Change, Disaster Management and Humanitarian Support including Organizational Development and GEDSI. CDAFN is implementing Common Approach Sponsorship Program {समुन्नति} and Child Sensitive Social Protection {पहुँच} Project partnership with Save the Children in Bardibas, Gaushala, Aurahi, Bhagaha and Loharpatti Municipality of Mahottari district. For these Program and projects, CDAFN invites applications from interested qualified and professional Nepali candidates for the following full-time position.

Position: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) and Documentation Officer

Required No.: 1 (One) 

Duty Station: Project Office Bardibasha-03 Gauridanda, Mahottari (70% field visit in Program and project area)

Required qualification, experience, skill and knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in science/ development studies/ Social Science/ public health/ education/Economics/ Statistics or a related field from a recognized institution, 
• Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience" or "Prior experience in multiple thematic areas such as education, health, livelihood, child protection program implementation, and sponsorship programs is preferred. Experience working in multicultural environments.
• Strong knowledge of M&E methodologies (e.g., log frames, theory of change, indicators)
• With expertise in databases, friendly in Kobo tools, MS Office and other analysis software OPMIS.
• Ability to work in challenging environment.
• Good Interpersonal and Communication skills.
• Proficient in report writing and documentation.

Purpose of Role 

The objective of position holder is to execute MEAL system in above mentioned both program as well as overall organization, provide technical support in program quality control, program planning, capacity building of program staffs in MEAL function and setting up accountability mechanism in PNGO including documentation of program/project’s interventions.

Role Dimensions:

Ensure smooth functioning of MEAL system in PNGO, conduct monthly quality monitoring in line with quality benchmark, prepare quality monitoring report, share community sharing tools and conduct output monitoring. Similarly provide necessary data to the program team to finalize project report, prepare case studies/success stories/good practices for program/project. The position holder will ensure smooth functioning of CFM system, update action plan tracker and Complaint, Feedback and Response Mechanism (CFRM), update MEAL OPMIS, and program database.

Period: December 2025 with extension as per working performance, resource available with 3 months trial period
