Context:
Under the overall supervision of Chief Migration Health Officer in Kathmandu and direct supervision of the Senior Medical Admin Assistant of Kathmandu, the incumbent will be responsible for the following:
Core Functions / Responsibilities:
- Coordinates/Communicates with MHAC and assists for arranging smooth procedures of health assessment.
- Coordinates and calls the clients for necessary procedures for health assessment such as chest X-ray, laboratory testing, vaccination, anthropometry and physical examination.
- Prevents overcrowding and ensure orderly and safe movements of clients/urban refugees in the compound.
- Helps MHAC staffs during health assessment and clerical works.
- Monitors the fuel level of the generator and arrange for necessary re-fuelling.
- Deliver mail-out documents to the UN embassy.
- Bring medical disposables to TUTH.
- Coordinates and report to MHAC staffs on necessary refuelling and maintenance of generator, and office/equipment/supplies in MHAC premise.
- Monitors the reserve water-tank level and verifies quantities of water supplied.
- Perform any other duties as may be required.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Education
- Completed High School Degree/Equivalent from an accredited academic institution; or
- Completed School leaving certificate from an accredited academic institution.
Experience
- Relevant work experience of 2 years in any other offices.
- Experience of working as a messenger/office assistant handling clients.
- Experience of handling large group of people.
- Team-work oriented with capacity to work independently.
- Cross cultural experience.
Skills
- Ability to communicate well with your co-workers, clients.
- Self-motivated and objective driven.
Languages
Fluency in English, Nepali is required.
