NIRN (National Inter-Religious Network) Nepal
National Inter-Religious Network (NIRN)-Nepal is a network of different faith based organization with representation from Bahai, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Islam, Jainism, Kirat, Sikh and other religious minority. NIRN was established in December 2008 and is registered in District Administration Office in Lalitpur. NIRN Nepal envisions 'Social harmony, promote gender equality, religious tolerance and peaceful society'. Mission of the NIRN is to promote gender equality, religious harmony and reduce harmful traditional practices with regular dialogue, collaboration, partnership based on coexistence with interfaith organizations and stakeholders.
MEAL cum Documentation Officer - Lalitpur Office (Frequent travel to field areas)
The MEAL cum Documentation Officer – should work for designing and implement of M&E process by technical support and checking quality and closely work with Program Coordinator
Reports to:
Direct report: Program Coordinator
Major responsibilities
- Monitor Project Activities, produce and submit monthly report.
- Facilitate corrective actions based on the monitoring findings and update the systems.
- Collect secondary data from various stakeholders and write reports and stories.
- Develop concept notes and proposal writing
Relationship Management:
- Stakeholders mapping skills for broader benefit of the project
- Good meeting facilitation and documentation skills
- Capacity to identify local advocacy issues around child marriage and social evils.
- Producers database monitoring and interpretation skill
- Presentation skills in different forum and network
Child and adult safeguard
- Manage all the working environment in the office and working areas are child and adult sensitive
- Guide the team and organization in managing protection related matters appropriately
- Support the organization in complying with all child and adult safe guarding policies, requirements and audits
- Manage all the sponsorship businesses as per the protocols and guidance provided by WVIN
- Registered children participation is well reflected in the provided reporting platforms
- Ensure operationalization of World Vision’s Child Sponsorship standards, Development Project
- Standards and sponsorship integration in all phases of programming
Academic Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor in social work, sociology, Rural Development with at least three years of working experience on interfaith engagement is highly preferred.
- Sound knowledge on Government policy, program priorities, needs and issues in relation with social evils and child marriage.
- Good Knowledge of computer skills in MS Office Package and software.
- Language: English and Nepali
