Learning and Design Engineer

We are looking for a passionate and innovative Learning and Design Engineer to join our team at Green Decision Labs and Research (GD Labs). This role involves developing impactful knowledge materials, designing cutting-edge products, and leveraging learning insights to enhance future strategies. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Research and Data Lead to create knowledge documents, including blogs, articles, and reports.
• Extract insights from ventures, projects, and services while developing frameworks for capturing and documenting organizational knowledge.
• Lead regular learning and design meetings to facilitate effective knowledge-sharing within the team.
• Research and develop industrial layouts, technologies, and pragmatic designs that align with business strategies.
• Utilize technical expertise to evaluate external hires’ work, create 3D drawings and prototypes, and explore innovative design solutions.
• Actively participate in team meetings, sprints, and cross-functional collaborations to ensure design outputs align with organizational goals.
• Support in different projects of GD Labs as a project team member when required.
• Actively participate in biweekly sprints, quarterly OKRs, and annual meetings.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 1+ years of experience in product design, IoT, or related roles.
• Proficiency in 3D design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and 3D printing.
• Strong programming knowledge and a solid understanding of IoT systems.
• Ability to conduct independent research and translate insights into actionable designs.
• Excellent communication skills for sharing knowledge and insights across teams.
• Proven ability to contribute to strategy development through technical expertise.
