KIRDARC is an NGO dedicated to uphold the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through its interventions on Human Rights, Democracy and Good Governance with especial focus on building capacities of right holders, duty bearers and civil society contributing to inclusive growth and fair development. It works with a vision of ‘a just and prosperous society’.

KIRDARC Nepal is implementing the “Ensuring Sustainable, inclusive Water through improved capacity of the stakeholders for improved water governance (SUMATRA)- A case from Patarasi Rural Municipality (P-RM), Jumla, Karnali Province” Project in Jumla district in consortium with IHE Delft, Netherland and Mid-West University. Therefore, KIRDARC Nepal is expecting the job applications from suitable qualified, dynamic and motivated candidates to fulfill the vacant position of Project Officer based in Jumla district.

Position Description: Knowledge Management and Documentation Officer, Female only, 1 Person (Based in Coordination Office, Sanepa, Lalitpur)

Academic Qualification and Experience: Master’s degree in Information Technology, Knowledge Management, Communications, or a related field preferably in WASH, Water Resource Management, Environment. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and extensive relevant experience will also be considered.

Key Skills and Knowledge required:- Strong leadership and team management skills with expertise in knowledge management frameworks and IT systems design. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills in both English and Nepali. Proficiency in data analysis, visualization tools, Microsoft Office, cloud computing, and publication software. Familiarity with WASH projects and community development frameworks is a plus.
