Multi-dimensional Action for Development (MADE Nepal) is working with marginalized people to improve their socio-economic condition through intervention of community based integrated program special focusing on resilience livelihood of vulnerable communities. Modernization Aquaculture in Nepal (MATSYA) project is designed to address food security through improvements in the aquaculture value chain by (1) incorporating climate smart technologies, (2) improving end market linkages and incomes for farmers, (3) increasing access to finance for farmers to expand trade of agricultural products, and (4) strengthening the public and private sector. 

MADE NEPAL invites applications for the following positions mentioned below from suitable candidates to work in the MATSYA Project

1. Position: Aquaculture Field Coordinator (AFC)

Required Number: - 1

1. Position Overview:

The Aquaculture Field Coordinator (AFC) will play a key role in establishing and strengthening fish farmer groups, leading capacity-building initiatives, and promoting best aquaculture practices. The AFC will collaborate closely with fish hatcheries, nurseries, feed millers, processors, feed dealers, sub-dealers, government officials, aquaculture/fisheries associations, research institutes, universities, and farmer leaders. Additionally, the AFC will provide direct support to Aquaculture Field Facilitators and report to the Aquaculture Specialist.

2. Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum Educational Requirement: Bachelor in Fishery
• Prior experience and training in the fisheries sector will be prioritized.
• Existing government personnel are eligible to apply.
• Flexibility to be deployed based on project needs and requirements.

१) पदको संक्षिप्त:

मत्स्य फिल्ड सहजकर्ता (AFF) ले माछा पालक किसान र अन्य सरोकारवालाहरुको तथ्याङ्क संकलनमा महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका खेल्नेपर्नेछ । मत्स्यपालक कृषक समुहको गठन र विकासमा सहजीकरण गर्ने , माछापालन, ह्याचरी, नर्सरी सञ्चालक, उत्पादक र व्यापारीहरुको क्षमता अभिवृद्धि क्रियाकलापहरु सञ्चालन गर्ने पर्नेछ  । मत्स्य फल्डि सहजकर्ता (AFF) समुह परिाचालनको लागि जिम्मेवार हुनेछन् । (AFF) ले परियोजना टोली र कार्यालयको सहकार्यमा काम गर्नेछन् र मत्स्य विशेषज्ञलाई रिर्पोट पेश गर्नुपर्नेछ ।

२) योग्यता र आवश्यकताहरु:

क) न्यूनतम शैक्षिक आवश्यकता:

• उच्च माध्यमिक शिक्षा (10+2) मा मत्स्यपालन, पशु चिकित्सा, कृषि वा CTEVT बाट JT/JTA पास गरेको हुनुपर्ने  ।
• मत्स्यपालन सँग सम्वन्धित क्षेत्रमा पूर्व अनुभव र प्रशिक्षण भएका उम्मेदवारहरुलाई प्राथमिकता दिइनेछ ।
• कृषि, पशुपन्छी, पोल्ट्री र मत्स्यपालन जस्ता क्षेत्रमा साना व्यवसायमा सक्रिय रुपमा संलग्र लक्षित समुदायका उम्मेदवारहरुलाई प्राथमिकता दिईनेछ ।
• उम्मेदवार परियोजना लागु भएका जिल्लाहरुको स्थानीय बासिन्दो हुनुपर्नेछ ।
