This position will be responsible for providing support and coaching to WVIN’s NGO Partners and ensure all NGO Partners adhere required compliances, which includes payment and disbursements; procurement review; monitoring and reporting as per tools with at least 60% visit to the field/Project locations. To ensure stewardship, accountability and transparency in the Finance and SCM sectors through active resourcing and empowerment of PNGOs.
Major Responsibilities
The IT Specialist –System Integration, Networking and Security (ISSINS) has the overall responsibility to assist and facilitate business units or functional area for the purpose of integrating with existing digital solution or by creating, developing, out sourcing new digital platform solutions, The ISSINS assists as the business relationship link with business units to provide solutions for the efficiency of business and guidance through key IT initiatives. The ISSINS proactively assist as a “trusted party,” in promoting IT services, digital solutions and capabilities and assist in delivering technology products that meet the needs of the business.
ISSINS has to assist, facilitate and lead for the initiatives relates to enterprise IT solutions in terms of network, system, service management, and problem solving.
- Coordinate and monitor the management and maintenance of all Ministry IT solutions to ensure and enable WVI Nepal to be on track and alignment with global standards in compliance with WV global standards and key performance indicators
- Facilitate WVI Nepal staff, National and field office to have appropriate capacity to be engaged with ministry IT systems and motivate to cascade capacity to partner NGOs’ staff and relevant community volunteers according to their roles.
- Facilitate WVI Nepal staffs, National and field offices to have appropriate capacity to ensure the quality, integrity, security and consistency of information generated by all ministry IT solutions that are shared with internal and external audience according to their roles.
- Provide technical support to WVI Nepal staffs in terms of ministry IT solutions including trouble shooting and capacited to raise incident.
- Design, Configure, implement network as an when required.
- Design, configure, implement network devices (Firewall, Router, UTM, Switches, Wi-Fi Etc) as an when required.
- Keep Updated version of infrastructure with Network data.
- Update reporting template
- Maintain consistent, reliable Wireless zone
- Monitor implemented network infrastructure.
- Regularly monitor network (LAN, WAN, Intranet) and act accordingly.
- Keep in touch and maintain good relationship with ISP technical &
- Non-technical person for their assistance if required.
- Identify network monitoring tool and establish real time notification.
- Annalise data collected from network and act accordingly.
- Install and configure server operating systems (Windows, Linux, Others)
- Keep in touch and maintain good relationship with technical expertise for their assistance if required.
- Keep Updated version of infrastructure with system data.
- Regularly monitor physical and virtual machine health status and keep
- Design, configure, implement physical and logical security means to protect hosted applications.
- Ensure all WVI Nepal staffs are participated on InfoSec training which is initiated by GTD.
- Coordinate with GTD security team and collect vulnerability test report and match with self-test and act accordingly to fix the vulnerabilities.
- Design, configure and implement Veem Backup & replication software for the purpose of backup and ensure critical server replication & backup are kept in DR site and ensure backup file consistency.
- Keep track of all backup data on reporting template.
- Ensure items for emergency preparedness are in ready state like (Satellite Phones, BGAN devices, Rugged laptop, Portable backup, foldable solar, etc)
- Match with present list of staffs and count of Manage Engine & Zscalar installation and install application if any one missed and Ensure all end point devices are equipped with Bigfix and Zscalar.
- Follow up with multiple stakeholders (local, global) and ensure the events carried through Bigfix is smooth.
- Update reporting template.
- Administrator WVNepal O365 tenant whenever required.
- Facilitate and coordinate with SAP GTD team for the deprovisioning of user credential for all WV & WVI Nepal application & System.
- Engage with multiple department and provide technical support for virtual event.
Requirements Include:
Required Professional Experience
- At least 2-year experiences working in support of Ministry IT solution’s
- At least 3 years working experience in technology field in terms of providing Enterprise IT solutions.
- Deep knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
- Excellent communication skill.
- Good team player.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Required Education, training, license, registration and certification
- At least bachelor's degree in information technology, computer engineering or relevant technology field.
