Duration: 3 months
Base: Kathmandu Valley with occasional travel

Stipend: NPR 9700 monthly
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the programmatic aspects of Nutrition and Health.
- Assist in the planning and execution of surveys and assessments.
- Support in monitoring and supervision of activities.
- Assist in organizing meetings and events to promote alliance activities.
- Support in preparing advocacy materials and position papers.
- Participate in meetings and forums to represent ACF.
- Assist the Programme Manager in daily operations and project management activities.
- Ensure all project activities are inclusive and consider gender, child protection, and disability issues.
- Understand and adhere to all safeguarding policies.
- Report any concerns or incidents in line with organizational procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of work.
- Provide regular updates and reports on task progress and any challenges encountered.
- Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity.
- Comply with this Safeguarding Policy and the relevant annexed policies, which fall under its scope.
Deliverables
- Weekly status reports on daily activities and progress.
- Documentation of assigned tasks.
- Final internship report summarizing achievements, learnings, and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master in Public Health, social sciences or related field and those whose academic programs include an internship component, will be given preference.
- Strong skills in analysing indicators and the nutrition/health situation.
- Experience in reviewing health programs and policies.
- Experience in organizing technical workshops at national and provincial levels with the government.
- Excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Experience in Health/Nutrition advocacy is an asset.
- Autonomy, initiative-taking, punctuality, and rigor.
- English language skills and computer knowledge is a must.
