Position: Intern Staff
Department: Administration
Location: FHAN Office, Kathmandu
Duration: Initially for 6 months with possibility for renewal
Reports to: Director, Administration
Job Overview:
The Intern Staff will support the Administration Department in daily operations and assist with IT and device management. The intern will also contribute to FHAN’s social media activities by managing content and engagement. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in administrative processes, IT support, and digital communications within a professional organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Assist in documentation, record-keeping, and filing of administrative documents.
- Support in coordinating meetings, events, and workshops organized by FHAN.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence (emails, letters, and phone calls).
- Provide general support to office staff and visitors.
IT & Device Management:
- Assist in troubleshooting basic IT and hardware/software issues,
- Support in maintaining and updating IT systems, including network and office devices.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of computers, printers, and other electronic devices.
- Coordinate with IT vendors for technical support when required.
Social Media Management:
- Assist in managing FHAN’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Create and schedule engaging content, including posts, graphics, and short videos.
- Monitor social media engagement, respond to queries, and interact with followers.
- Track and report social media analytics to improve online presence.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT, Communications, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of office administration and IT troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
- Good communication skills in both English and Nepali.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and basic graphic design tools (Canva, Photoshop) is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
