Position Title: Fast Food Cook

Department: Kitchen / Food Preparation

Company/Location: Bunwich Foods / Thapathali

Job Purpose:

The Fast Food Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality, quick-service meals such as burgers, sandwiches, fries, and other menu items. The role ensures that food is cooked safely, efficiently, and presented appealingly while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items such as burgers, sandwiches, fries, and other fast-food items according to company recipes and standards.
  • Set up workstations with required ingredients and cooking equipment.
  • Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation meet the company’s expectations.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices as per health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the kitchen supervisor or manager.
  • Operate grills, fryers, ovens, and other kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and assist with cleaning duties during and after shifts.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for smooth and timely order delivery.
  • Adhere strictly to portion, cooking, and waste control guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a fast-food environment.
  • Knowledge of cooking techniques for burgers, sandwiches, and fried foods.
  • Understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: 15-20k
  • Lunch allowance during working hours: Rs. 200 per day (applicable for present days only)
  • Other benefits: Opportunity for growth in Central Production Kitchen Facility in near future
