Building on our track record of success, we have continuously expanded the depth and breadth of our expertise in the governance, water, energy, and environment sectors, and in such areas as private sector engagement (PSE), monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), and inclusive development. 

Responsibilities:

ECODIT is seeking qualified personnel for the anticipated four-year USAID Nepal e-Governance Activity. The purpose of the Activity is to strengthen the e-Governance ecosystem of Nepal for equitable, accessible, and quality service delivery to citizens. The Activity has following three objectives:

1. Objective 1: Identify, Develop, Implement, and Scale Up integrated e-Services
2. Objective 2: Skill building to Government of Nepal (GON) and private sector stakeholders to design, operate and maintain data platforms and e-Services
3. Objective 3: Enhance accessibility of e-Services in targeted locations

ECODIT seeks qualified candidates for the following long-term technical assistance (LTTA) and short-term technical assistance (STTA) positions. Candidates will bring experience and expertise in various technical and service areas that are relevant to the Activity’s statement of work (SOW). Candidates will ideally have strong experience working on e-governance, IT, data management, digital literacy, service delivery, training, capacity building, citizen engagement, MEL, and social inclusion, in an international development context, and for projects funded by USAID. Candidates must be fluent in Nepali and English.

Qualified candidates will have the following minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience supporting government/donor funded projects; experience working on USAID projects highly preferred. Advanced academic degrees in relevant fields are highly desirable;
• For Objective Leads, Master’s degree in a relevant field with 10 years of relevant work experience;
• Demonstrated technical knowledge and expertise in at least one of the areas listed above; 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; and
• Fluency in Nepali.
