CALL FOR PROPOSAL TO CONDUCT 

EVALUATION OF UMN’S “CCCDP” PROJECT

United Mission to Nepal (UMN) has been serving the people of Nepal since 1954. UMN, with funding support from Transform Aid Australia (TAI), formerly BWAA, implemented a nine-year Child Centered Community Development Project (CCCDP) in Dhading, Sunsari and Morang Districts from 2010 to 2020, in partnership with local partners, Prayas Nepal (Dhading), CMC (Sunsari) and NCDC (Morang).

The project worked with children, families, and the entire community to create lasting change for all children in the target area. Child participation was key to all stages of the project cycle, and the intended positive impact on child well-being informed all decision-making regarding project activities. The project mobilised and strengthened public schools, community and school-based child clubs, Self-Help Groups (SHGs) of women (and, in some cases, mixed-gender groups), and cooperatives.

Now, UMN and TAI/BWAA are seeking a consultant to conduct data collection in Dhading as a part of an impact assessment of the project. This advertisement has been published to invite applications from individuals to undertake this data collection. Details of the scope, objectives, timeline, methodologies, and qualifications for the consultants have been provided in the Terms of Reference (ToR), which can be accessed at www.umn.org.np/tor-CCCDP

All interested and experienced individuals who have a PAN registration and meet the requirements and qualifications are encouraged to apply. Applications should include a letter of interest clearly stating why you are best suited for the assignment, a CV highlighting relevant experiences, and a financial proposal. The application must be submitted to UMN no later than 15 January 2025.

Short-listed candidates will be invited to participate in an assessment process. We especially encourage applications from women and marginalised groups.
