Call for Expression of Interest for Consultant or Firm for Producing Podcast

Yuwalaya in partnership with Oxfam in Nepal is implementing project "Yuwa Sangako Hamro Sahayatra” YSHS aiming to empower youths from ethnic and marginalized groups financially, socially and culturally through conservation of indigenous culture, arts, rituals and music. Currently, Yuwalaya is looking for pro-active, self-motivated and outcome-oriented persons for the following position:

Consultant Requirements:

• The consultant must have significant experience in indigenous music, dance, and art, with a proven record of work related to these fields.
• Familiarity with engaging and empowering youth, particularly in marginalized communities, through creative and participatory methods.
• A strong understanding of the local context, including cultural norms, languages, and traditions of the Karnali and Far West provinces.
• Proficiency in podcast production, including recording, editing, and mixing, with prior experience producing high-quality audio content.
• Ability to integrate advocacy messages into creative outputs and align with local government policies for Indigenous art preservation.
• Expertise in storytelling that resonates with audiences, especially focusing on intergenerational narratives and personal journeys.
• Knowledge of creating engaging promotional materials for social media platforms, including reels, snippets, and visuals.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage timelines, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure deliverables are met within the project's timeframe.
• Willingness to sign a non-disclosure agreement and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive project data and outputs.
• Relevant academic qualifications and work experience, with a solid understanding of Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) principles.
