CRS Nepal Invites applications from eligible and interested candidates for the following positions:

Human Resources Coordinator- FEMALE ONLY (1 position based in Lalitpur): You will coordinate and support the execution of the Country Program (CP) HR strategy and operational plans in support of high-quality programs serving the poor and vulnerable. You will assist the Country Program (CP) Senior Management Team in coordination with HR Manager to analyze HR programs, services and operations needs and challenges in the areas of recruitment, staff engagement, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee administration and partner safeguarding, and will provide recommendations for improvement solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support HR processes, activities, and service delivery, to ensure they meet latest agency, donor, and local legal requirements and standards and reflect best practices.
  • Lead recruitment process, including drafting vacancy, collecting CVs, drafting short-listing, greeting candidates, setting up-tests and interviews, facilitating interviews, preparing the recruitment report, salary analysis and recommendation, background check and other necessary communication and coordination to finalize recruitments.
  • Ensure every staff has completed quality onboarding during first month of joining and provide additional orientation, as requested.
  • Lead and oversee the roll out of the CRS Policy on Safeguarding and Partner Safeguarding Procedure at the Country Program level in coordination with key stakeholders (CRS staff, CP SMT, Project Managers, Partner staff)
  • Document adherence to the partner safeguarding procedure within the chosen information management platform.
  • Provide support and guidance on Partner safeguarding to CRS partners, CP SMT/CMT and CP colleagues
  • Maintain Employee Administration including personnel files, timesheets, staff insurance, personnel administration transactions (e.g. leave balances, staff attendance, etc.) or HRIS (Oracle based) that adheres to required CRS, donor, and local law regulations.
  • Coordinate overall staff engagement through the implementation of CP staff engagement plan and other initiatives, as needed.
  • Support Department Heads and Supervisors to complete activities in line with the CRS Performance Management System, including management of probationary period and performance improvement.

Basic Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration required. 
  • Minimum of four years work experience in HR and safeguarding, preferably with an International or local NGO and strong knowledge of HR best practices and standards.
  • Experience with and strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, policies, principles, concepts, and practices.
  • Experience using MS Windows and MS Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Web Conferencing Applications, HRIS.

  • Strong relations management abilities. Ability to relate to people at all levels internally and externally. Strategic in how you approach each relationship Excellent analytical skills with ability to make sound judgment and decisions

  • Proactive, resourceful, solutions-oriented and results-oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in HR Management, Business Administration or Organizational Development preferred.
  • Prior experience on partner safeguarding is plus.
