Health Foundation Nepal (HFN) is a Non-government and non-profit national level organization working in various public health programs/projects to improve the health and well-being of the most underserved people of Nepal. We also work in humanitarian crises namely disaster and diseases outbreak. HFN is currently recruiting a qualified and experienced candidate for the position of Health Assistant for community-based health research and clinical programs in the Dang district.

Qualifications: | PCL in General Medicine (H.A) with relevant experiences of at least two years and interest in health research and community primary health care programs. |
Salary: | As per organizational norms. |
Duration: | The job contract will be for one year with the possibility of an extension. |

Position Description:
The Health Assistant will be responsible to assess community needs, plan and execute community-based Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) Research Program and assisting to implement preventive & curative activities based on community. S/he will support organizing regular research screening camps, management of NCDs cases, and support to strengthening data quality and compliance with research protocols. S/he will be providing basic health services from community health clinics and outreach/satellite clinics. S/he is responsible to maintain a good working relationship with patients, colleagues and partners, local government authorities, district, and municipal level line agencies. In addition, Health Assistant will also support documenting project activities and report project progress as required.
