PAC as globally networked organization has global experience and expertise as well as brings in local experience. PAC is a change making organisation that works in unconventional ways. We put ingenious ideas to work so people in poverty can change their world. We do things differently, so answers that start small can grow big - bringing people together in bold collaborations, using innovation and knowledge to build futures free from poverty and helping shape a world that works better for everyone. We are looking for individual consultant for the intermittent inputs for the period of 3 years in below roles.
GEDSI Specialist
The purpose of this role is to lead the integration of GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion) within the project, ensuring that inclusivity remains at the core of all activities. The candidate will be responsible for conducting baseline GEDSI assessments, developing and implementing action plans, and mainstreaming GEDSI strategies. This role includes forming and facilitating a GEDSI steering committee, monitoring progress, preparing periodic and final impact assessment reports, and producing knowledge documents. Additionally, the specialist will organize webinars, participate in national and international forums, and share learnings to strengthen GEDSI outcomes.
About you
You have a strong understanding of GEDSI principles and experience in integrating them into development projects. You possess knowledge of research methodologies for baseline assessments, action plan development, and impact evaluation. You have experience facilitating committees, organizing knowledge-sharing events, and preparing reports to track progress. You hold a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, gender studies, development studies, or a relevant field. Experience in policy advocacy, capacity-building, and stakeholder engagement will be an added advantage.
ESS Specialist
The purpose of this role is to lead the integration of Environmental and Social Safeguards (ESS) within the project, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices. The candidate will be responsible for conducting baseline ESS assessments, formulating and implementing ESS action plans, and mainstreaming ESS strategies. Key tasks include facilitating a steering committee, monitoring progress, preparing periodic and final impact reports, and developing knowledge products. The specialist will also organize webinars and share learnings in national and international forums to enhance ESS integration.
About you
You have expertise in environmental and social safeguards, with experience in conducting baseline studies, developing action plans, and ensuring compliance with ESS frameworks. You have a solid understanding of risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability strategies. You are skilled in preparing reports, facilitating knowledge-sharing activities, and participating in policy discussions. You hold a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, social sciences, or a related field. Experience in impact assessments, regulatory compliance, and capacity-building will be an added value.
M&E Specialist
The purpose of this role is to design and implement a robust Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system for tracking project progress and impact. The candidate will be responsible for conducting baseline studies, developing an approach for monitoring mandatory log frame indicators, and ensuring timely reporting of progress. The role also involves preparing gender-disaggregated data reports, documenting lessons learned, developing knowledge products, conducting endline studies, and compiling a final impact assessment report.
About you
You have a strong background in M&E with experience in designing frameworks, data collection, and impact assessment. You are skilled in analysing logframe indicators, tracking progress, and preparing detailed reports. You have expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and are adept at presenting findings in a structured and actionable manner. You hold a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, statistics, development studies, or a relevant field. Experience in gender-responsive M&E, knowledge management, and data visualization tools will be an added advantage.
Communications Specialist
The purpose of this role is to develop and implement a strategic communication plan to ensure effective dissemination of project learnings and insights. The candidate will be responsible for organizing project kickoff consultative workshops, stakeholder meetings, and knowledge-sharing events. Key tasks include producing communication materials, conducting quarterly podcast updates, hosting webinars, managing social media and website content, and developing promotional videos. The specialist will also document lessons learned and participate in national and international forums to enhance project visibility.
About you
You have expertise in strategic communication, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge dissemination. You are skilled in content creation, digital media management, and organizing public engagement events. You have experience producing reports, promotional materials, and visual content for effective outreach. You hold a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field. Experience in multimedia production, social media strategy, and knowledge management will be an added value.
