Frontend Engineer

We are seeking a skilled ‘Frontend Engineer’ to guide the user experience of our web-based reporting solution and bring designs to life through hands-on implementation. This role bridges the gap between design and development, requiring both strong UX expertise and front-end design skills. You will collaborate closely with software engineers to ensure the seamless integration of design into the app.

TITLE: Frontend Engineer

REQUIREMENTS

• Solid experience on state management library for React application like Redux
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration (GraphQL nice to have)
• Proven experience in UX design for web applications, ideally reporting or data-heavy solutions.
• Proficiency in CSS, HTML, and design tools like Figma.
• Knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Material UI, Tailwind CSS and so on.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles.
• Experience working alongside developers, preferably in React-based environments.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Solid understanding of React components and states management.
• Ability to take ownership of design implementation from concept to final delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the UX design process, including user research, wireframes, and prototyping.
• Develop and deliver high-quality, responsive UI designs using CSS and front-end tools.
• Collaborate with software engineers to implement designs and ensure pixel-perfect integration.
• Maintain consistency in design elements across the application while adhering to branding guidelines.
• Optimize UI for usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Provide design feedback during development to ensure the final product matches design specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest design and front-end trends to continually enhance the product.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in degree in a relevant field.
• 2 + years of experience in take ownership of design implementation from concept to final delivery.
• Expert level in CSS, HTML, and design tools like Figma.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience: The skills and experience mentioned above in a relevant field would be preferred and advantageous. This is a contract-based role.
