Details / requirements:
REQUIREMENTS FOR Ruby on Rails (ROR) FREELANCERS
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years web application development experience and 2+ years using Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL and other open source frameworks
- Full Stack Development experience (front end, mid-tier and back end)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience on building scalable internet applications
- Creates well designed reusable code on a reliable schedule
- Understands the benefits of the various design methodologies, functional and object oriented environments
- Understands specific browser compatibility issues
Technologies
- Ruby on Rails
- Angular JS, jquery or similar experience
- CSS, HTML, Javascript
- PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Linux
- Git /github
Additional Skills (experience in the following is beneficial but not required):
- Amazon AWS Cloud-based environments
- Mobile development experience
- Node.js
REQUIREMENTS FOR PYTHON FREELANCERS
- 2+ years minimum experience with Python
- Experience in an agile development environment
- Experience implementing and consuming various APIs
- Strong English written and verbal skills
- Strong analytical and research oriented skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
Additional Skills (experience in the following is beneficial but not required):
- HTML5/CSS3
- Git
- XML
- Responsive Web Design
- Amazon AWS Cloud-based environments
