Himalayan Bio Trade Pvt. Ltd. (HBTL) is the leading natural products manufacturing and marketing company based in Kathmandu. HBTL promotes ethical, socially responsible and environmentally sustainable business practices working directly with the rural producer community groups, cooperatives and enterprises all over Nepal. 

HBTL is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations and invites applications from qualified, experienced and dedicated candidates.

Position: Finance/Accounting Manager– 1

Position Type: Full-time

Qualification and experience: 

• Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 5 years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Roles and responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions including billing, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Prepare budget forecasts and monitor financial performance.
• Reconcile bank statements and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance and maintain internal controls.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in financial documentation and compliance with policies.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and monitor actual performance against budget.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.
• Coordinate with external auditors and oversee the preparation of audit documents.
