The Natural Resource Conflict Transformation Center- Nepal (NRCTC-N) is implementing Mediation Program under Subnational Governance Program Phase-II funded by The Asia Foundation. NRCTC-N invites applications from Nepali citizens for the following positions. 

1. Finance Officer- 1

Required Qualification Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Accounting, Finance and Business management from a recognized university.
  • Should have good knowledge and skills in computer package, accounts and accounting software Tally.
  • Sound knowledge and skills in forecasting and budgeting. Should be able to project future financial and operational resources and requirements (e.g., cash, revenue, viability, people, and more); able to prepare the financial plan for a specific period or project.
  • Should be able to analyze the financial statements and data to provide insights about the financial performance and position of the organization over time and in comparison with others.
  • Sound have sound knowledge and skills in Internal and External Reporting. Should be able to define, develop, generate or prepare internal and external financial reports for both individual entities or groups using appropriate accounting and/or regulatory requirements and internal management reports that compare actual results to planned results; able to deliver, discuss, and report on the organization’s operations and financial conditions, and recommend interventions where necessary.
  • Should have sound knowledge and skills in information systemsand be able to use technology to solve problems, analyze data, and enhance performance.
  • At least three years of experience in the NGOs/INGO in account, finance and administration management department.

2. Program Associate– 1

Required Qualification Criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in conflict management, development studies, public policy or relevant social science degree.
  • IT skills: MS Office, able to write reports and budget. 
  • At least one year experience working in the development field. Preference is given to those having knowledge of mediation practices. 
  • Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Nepali.
  • Capable of organizing trainings/events and coordinating effectively with local governments and other lying agencies during program implementation.

Contract Period: 1 year with the possibility of extension

Duty Station: NRCTC-N's Central Office, Kausaltar, Bhaktapur and project districts based on the requirement. 

Duration: Until September 28, 2023.
