Finance and Compliance Manager –

Summary of Job Purpose: Finance and Compliance Manager is a member of the senior management team and head of the Mercy Corps Nepal Finance and Compliance Department and work with regional teams to lead, develop and support country budgeting including master budget, gap analysis, cost coverage and allocations. S/he is responsible for all aspects of financial management of country’s programs, working collaboratively to ensure compliance with Mercy Corps internal policies and procedures as well as donor regulations.

Educational qualifications and experience: ACCA, CA, master’s in accounting, finance or equivalent fields with 6 or more years of progressive financial management, and 4 years of experience in grants management as well as an understanding of donor regulations is required. Demonstrated experience and skill with budget preparation and analysis, financial reporting preparation and presentation and the proven ability to translate technical financial data into informative reports. Experience of working in the areas of local legislation covering SWC Registration, Tax, Audit, VAT Refund etc.
