About Us:

Sharecast Data Initiative Pvt. Ltd., founded in 2019, is a leading research company in Nepal. Our primary focus is on media audience data, policy interventions through opinion polling and dissemination of data for public awareness. Currently, Sharecast is working on multiple projects including its flagship Nepal Media Survey.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Coordinator to join our team and support the implementation of our research initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in mobilizing large-scale field enumerators and researchers, translation of research tools, and be fluent in Nepali and English typing and advance level skill in Excel. Skills in designing infographics are an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct literature reviews and contribute to research design and methodology 
• Translate research tools and materials from English to Nepali to English. 
• Mobilize and coordinate large-scale field enumerators and researchers for various projects.
• Lead in the planning and execution of field research activities.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data using Excel.
• Develop survey manuals and field guides for data collection efforts. 
• Engage with community members and stakeholders to facilitate data collection and research processes.
• Design and develop infographics to present research findings effectively.
• Provide support in preparing research reports and presentations.
• Ensure ethical and accurate data collection and management.
• Collaborate with the research team to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in field coordination, mobilization, and research.
• Proven experience in mobilizing large-scale field enumerators and researchers.
• Experience in conducting literature review and contributing to research design and methodology. 
• Fluency in Nepali and English, with strong translation skills.
• Proficiency in Nepali/English typing and Excel.
• Experience in designing infographics is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel to different field sites as required.
