ADRA serves in more than 130 countries to bring long-term development programs and immediate emergency response to communities through a network of global offices. Since 1987 ADRA Nepal has operated portfolios in the Health, Economic Development and Livelihood, Education, and Disaster Risk Management sectors.

Currently ADRA Nepal is implementing UNFPP/FPSSP program in province 2, 5, and 7 with support from UNFPA/DFID. The goal of the program is to contribute to improving maternal health through increased uptake of FP services and strengthening health system. The duration of program is until December 2020.

To contribute to the program, ADRA Nepal invites applications from qualified candidates for the following positions;

Family Planning Counsellor (Aacham, Rautahat, Sarlahi, and Udayapur): Four

• Qualification and Competencies: 
  • BN/Bsc Nursing or PCL Nursing (COFP, IMPLANT and IUCD trained) with minimum of three (3) years of experience in FP counselling and service delivery.

Project Coordinator (Kathmandu based): Two

• Qualification and Competencies:
  • Master’s in Public Health/Pharmacy/Social Science or equivalent with minimum 5 years of working experience in related field, preferably in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Logistics Management Information System (LMIS). 

Visiting Service Providers (Aacham, Bajura, Rautahat, Udayapur, Arghakhachi): Five

• Qualification and Competencies:
  • PCL Nursing or ANM passed with Implant and IUCD training certified by NHTC, trained on Implant and IUCD insertion and removal, experience in providing FP services especially LARC, a demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships with Health facility staff, HFOMC and health volunteers at community level, ability to work as a team player, and willingness to serve rural community.
