Women Rehabilitation Center (WOREC) is a prominent national non-governmental organization established in 1991 dedicated to preventing violence against women and girls, addressing its root causes, and ensuring the economic, social, and cultural well-being of women and marginalized groups.

Objectives and Geographical Coverage

WOREC is pleased to announce the enlistment of eligible vendors and service providers to its roster for the fiscal year 2081/82. This initiative aims to ensure the smooth operation of our activities and projects throughout the coming fiscal year. We invite qualified vendors and suppliers from all provinces and districts, with a particular focus on the following regions: Mahottari, Saptari, Dhanusha, Udaypur, Sarlahi, Morang, Sunsari, Dang, Kailali, Rukkum, Jajarkot, Kanchanpur, Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, and Kathmandu.

Areas of Procurement

WOREC is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from vendors and service providers who can supply a wide range of goods and services, including but not limited to the following categories:

1. Vehicle Rental Service-Provide vehicle rental service in all provinces/districts of Nepal.
2. Insurance- Provide medical/accidental insurance to staff/dependent and insure office property/equipment.
3. Office equipment & IT hardware- Supply of Computer, Laptop, Printer, Server, Firewall, LCD, Mobile Phone, Projector, UPS, Photocopy Machine, and other IT equipment.
4. Stationery and Office Supplies - Office Stationery supplies
5. Grocery supplies-cleaning supplies, pantry/kitchen supplies and other grocery items
6. Furniture and furnishing fixtures-Supply of various furniture items
7. Repair and Maintenance services- Repair services for Air conditioners, electricity, solar system and battery, online UPS, Engineering, Construction, Plumbing, Sewage, Carpentry, and Generator, Photocopy, Printer, Vehicle/Motor Cycle and servicing.
8. Printing, designing- Printing, publishing and designing works
9. Advertisement- Advertisement of Vacancies or Expression of Interests in online job portals.
10. Courier Service- Transportation of goods, International & Domestic Courier Service (Air & surface)
11. Medical supplies- Medicines, medical and surgical supplies/equipment,
12. Office Promotional Items- Supply of promotional items such as bag, jacket, T-shirt, mug, souvenir, and other items.
13. Relief and Emergency Items- Hygiene Kit, Dignity Kit, Disability Kit, Tarpaulin, Winterization Kit, NFRI Kits and other items.
14. Travel – Air ticketing for domestic and international travel.
15. Catering, Restaurant and Hotel Services – Food catering, Restaurants for one day non-residential events, Hotels for both residential and non-residential trainings, and workshops.
16. Internet Service Providers – Dedicated high speed internet connection, with remarkable after sales service.
17. Consultancy – WOREC seeks consultants with Feminist Perspectives and Feminist Values in the following sectors:
    • Sign Language Interpreters,
    • Audio/Video/Documentary Production,
    • Media,
    • IT,
    • Editing and Translation,
    • Survey and Research,
    • Training/Workshop Facilitators/Trainers with expertise in Report Writing, Digital, Physical, and Psychosocial Security of the HRDs, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Transformative Leadership, Feminist Capacity Building, Organizational Development
    • Psychiatrists/Psychological Counselors
    • GBV case management experts
    • Referral Mechanisms Specialists.
    • Event Management
    • Human/women and child rights expert
    • Gynecologists based in the mentioned districts
    • Social Auditors
    • Humanitarian Worker specialist/activists

Interested vendors must submit their company profile, copy of valid company registration certificate, copy of VAT/PAN registered certificate, and latest tax clearance documents by 20th August, 2024.

Interested consultants must submit their C.V., past experience, and a copy of pan card by 20th August, 2024.

Submission Procedures:

Hard Copy Submission: The hard copy documents should be enclosed in a sealed envelope with Subject-WOREC, EOI FY 2081/82 vendor listing and mention the category you are interested in from the above list.
