Call for Expression of Interest for Consultant for the CEDAW Report Preparation

Yuwalaya in partnership with Plan International Nepal is implementing project "Strengthening Meaningful Youth Engagement for Girls Standing Strong” project aiming to enhance meaningful youth participation in planning and decision-making processes to ensure annual priorities and plans effectively address and prioritizes their concerns. Currently, Yuwalaya is looking for pro-active, self- motivated and outcome-oriented individuals for the following position: 

Consultant Requirements:

• Familiarity with the socio-political and cultural context of Nepal.
• Advanced degree in gender studies, human rights, law, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing CEDAW shadow reports or similar alternative reports.
• In-depth knowledge of gender issues and policy frameworks in Nepal.
• Strong analytical and writing skills in both English and Nepali.
