Founded in 1983, the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization working to strengthen and expand democracy worldwide. NDI works with democratic institutions in every region of the world to build political and civic organizations, safeguard elections, and promote citizen, participation, openness, and accountability in government. Headquartered in Washington, DC, NDI maintains offices in over 70 countries on five continents. Its diverse workforce of employees from 75 countries are united in the belief that democracies promote economic growth and development more consistently and equitably than non-democratic political systems. NDI’s office in Nepal has been operational since 1997 and has since collaborated with the Parliament, political parties, government agencies and civil society.

National Democratic Institute (NDI) Nepal invites qualified vendors/suppliers to provide various goods and services for the year 2023/2024 from 01 November 2023 to 30 September 2024. Vendors/service providers interested to be listed in the vendor roster are requested to submit their Expression of Interest on below categories.

• Hotel and Conference Services (Kathmandu, Pokhara and Hetauda)
• Vehicle Rental Service- Provide vehicle rental service in all provinces of Nepal
• Air Ticketing Services (National and International)
• Law Firm- Provide legal advice/opinion to NDI Nepal as deemed necessary
• Insurance- Provide medical/accidental insurance to NDI Nepal staff/ dependent and insure NDI Nepal Vehicles
• Office equipment & IT hardware- Laptop, printer, LCD projector, UPS, photocopy machine and others IT equipment.
• Stationery- Office stationery supplies
• Grocery supplies- cleaning supplies, pantry/ kitchen supplies and other grocery items
• Repair and Maintenance services- Air conditioners, electricity, battery, online UPS, plumbing, sewage and carpentry
• Printing, designing- Printing, publishing and designing works
• Advertisement-Advertising services
• Translation and Interpretation Services
• Courier Services – Couriers of documents (National and International)
• Office promotional items- supply of promotional items such as bag, jacket, T-shirt, mug, souvenir, and other items.

Interested vendors to submit company profile, copy of valid company registration certificate, copy of VAT/PAN registered certificate, and latest tax clearance documents by 10 November 2023.

Submission Procedures:

Hard Copy Submission: The hard copy documents should be enclosed in a sealed envelope with Subject- NDI Nepal, EOl 2023/2024 - Vendor Listing and mention the category you are interested in from the above list.

NDI Nepal reserves the right to reject any submission and make the-final selection decision.
