Rural Women Development and Unity Center (RUWDUC) has been lending a voice to women, children, and youth since its establishment in 1995. RUWDUC aims to promote the well-being of humanity and ensure equality for all, including access to education, healthcare, justice, and a violence-free society.
RUWDUC is collaborating with World Vision International Nepal (WVI Nepal) to implement the project "Amplifying Advocacy through Strategic Engagement Project" (AASEP). It aims to advocate for child and women's well-being by engaging various levels of policy dialogues. As a part of the project, RUWDWC is going generate evidences on child responsive budget/budget for children (BfC) analysis. For this activity RUWDUC aims to develop a toolkit that provides structured frameworks, guidelines, and resources to help in the child responsive budget analysis to support BFC by the stakeholders.
RUWDUC now seeks application from the Individual Consulting Personnel/Expert for the following works;
1. Research and Analysis
- Conducting thorough research on child-friendly budget analysis
- Understanding the existing frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
- Analyzing relevant data and identifying key indicators for assessing child-friendly budgets.
2. Tool kit Development
- Develop a comprehensive toolkit that includes practical guidelines, templates and tools to support child responsive budget efforts.
3. Coordination with stakeholders
- Collaborating with relevant stakeholders such as government agencies, NGOs, and child rights advocates to gather insights and ensure that the toolkit aligns with their needs.
4. Quality Assurance
- The consultant conducts quality checks, reviews feedback and research, and revises the toolkit to ensure accuracy, relevance, and usability.
5. Documentation and reporting
- Documenting the development process of the toolkit, including methodologies, data sources, and lessons learned.
