Jan Jagaran Youth Club (JJYC) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization operating in several districts of Nepal, including Parsa, Bara, Rautahat, Sarlahi, Dhanusha, Siraha, Saptari, Mahottari, Morang, Makawanpur, and Bardiya. Established in 1998 by a group of youth from Telkuwa VDC, JJYC aims to bring positive change to the Terai/Madhesh region. The organization focuses on sustainable livelihood, entrepreneurship, poverty alleviation, health, water sanitation and hygiene (WASH), peace, democracy, good governance, education, women empowerment, advocacy, disaster risk reduction (DRR), and humanitarian support, with an emphasis on gender and social inclusion, climate change adaptation, youth empowerment, and safe migration. JJYC is funded by various national and international partners. JJYC, Bara with the partnership of Islami Relief Nepal has been implementing “Strengthening Community Resilience Project in Mahagadhimai Municipality and Subarna Rural Municipality of Bara District” from July 2022. JJYC, Bara hereby invites applications from suitable and qualified Nepalese and local citizens for the following position:

Details of Announcement:

1. Enterprise Development Facilitator (EDF) – 1 (One)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to small business beneficiaries.

• Assist in development of business plans, marketing strategies, and financial management practices.

• Track the progress of supported enterprises and provide ongoing feedback and support.

• Maintain accurate record of daily activities and submit to line manager on periodic basis.

Qualification: Completed level 2 or 3 skill test on entrepreneurship facilitation from National Skill Testing Board (NSTB) under Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) or 15-month certified Entrepreneurship Development Facilitator (EDF) related Technical SLC (T-SLC) course from CTEVT along with worked experience in micro enterprise development project.

Duty Station: Mahagadhimai Municipality and Subarna Rural Municipality of Bara District.
