The Pradiya Foundation is a Nepali non-profit dedicated to developing a vibrant, empowered, and resilient community in a remote Himalayan village. A crucial step in this mission is the establishment of a primary school, providing high-quality education to local children. Founded in 2022, the Pradiya Foundation began as a children’s home in the stunning Nepali Himalayas. Its founder, Oinak Singh, grew up in a children’s home in India and dreamed of creating a similar project in his family’s home village, Oda, located in Karnali, one of Nepal’s poorest regions. Beyond providing a home for orphans and children from disadvantaged backgrounds, the foundation actively works in education, health, nutrition, women’s empowerment, organic farming, and sustainable practices. Mission of Pradiya Foundation Primary School: To provide children in a remote Himalayan village with transformative, high-quality, and holistic education that nurtures their potential, fosters open-mindedness, and empowers them to contribute to their community’s progress. By addressing systemic underdevelopment at its root, we create a cycle of sustainable development that benefits the entire village. Vision of Pradiya Foundation Primary School: To build a dynamic international school community in a remote Nepalese village. Our goal is to provide employment for local teachers while welcoming international educators and specialists to share their knowledge. By emphasizing non-traditional teaching methods and cross-cultural exchanges, we aim to elevate local teaching standards, broaden children’s horizons, and create new opportunities. Education will drive sustainable development, fostering resilience and reversing urban migration. Together, we are creating an inclusive, joyful learning environment that uplifts the entire village. https://www.pradiya.org/ https://www.instagram.com/pradiyafoundation/ https://www.youtube.com/@PradiyaFoundation
