Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individual to play a crucial role in ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of water infrastructure, electrical appliances, sanitary treatment plant and mechanical equipment under direct supervision and overall guidance of the Manager. The position will be staying at the institute for 24 hours.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The specific responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Carry out routine maintenance to electrical appliances, water supply and mechanical equipment.
• Operate, maintain and control the Sanitary Treatment Plant (MBBR).
• Operate, maintain and control the water supply in the property.
• Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
• Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.
• Equipment Selection - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
• Perform other works as per the instruction of the manager.

Skills and Competence:

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with over 1 year of work experience, or completion of +2 in any subject with at least 3 years of experience as an electrician and plumbing technician.
• Experience of operation, maintenance and control of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) in hotels is preferable.
• Proactive, results-oriented and service-oriented with the ability to work in a challenging and demanding environment.
• Ability to clearly communicate in written and spoken English and Nepali.
