Education Consultant

The Hedwig and Robert Samuel Foundation is a German non-profit organization dedicated to empowering economically disadvantaged youth through access to high-quality technical education.

For over 30 years, we have provided young people in India and Costa Rica with the technical skills they need as professionals, partnering with companies and operating our own technical training centers.

Our current programs cover a range of fields, including Auto Mechanics, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Accounting Assistance, Administrative Assistance and Fashion Design & Management.

We are excited to expand our work to Nepal and are seeking a skilled Education Consultant for three months to help us make a difference.

Your Role:

As our Education Consultant, your primary responsibilities include:

• Conducting in-depth market research to identify critical skills gaps
• Analyzing the Nepalese labor market to ensure training programs meet the needs of both young people and the economy.
• Delivering comprehensive reports within three months to guide our future program development.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• University degree in Social Sciences, International Development, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience, ideally within the non-profit or skills development sector.
• Proficiency in Office and Windows programs.
• Fluency in English and Nepali with excellent communication skills.

Preferred:

• Work experience in Nepal with a deep understanding of local culture and social issues.
• Prior experience with international NGOs or foundations.
• A strong network of contacts within the Nepalese business and/or social sector.

Important note:

Please note that this consultancy is limited to three months. After successful completion of the consultancy, we are open to exploring further possibilities within the Samuel Foundation.
