Designation: DRR/CCA Officer 

Location: Dang and Banke District Under Caritas Nepal, Provincial office, Kohalpur

Requirements and Qualifications

Skill and Experience:

• 2 years of relevant experience in DRRM project management and coordination;
• Technical skills in the area of community-based activities for DRR
• Good understanding of Government DRRM structures and legislation 
• Experience with computer applications and office software (MS Word, Excel, etc.);
• Willingness to work in challenging conditions.
• Valid driving license and ability to ride a motorcycle in rural environment

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, preferably in development studies, environment science, disaster management, sociology, etc.
• Specialized training in disaster risk reduction and management is highly desirable.

Languages:

• Excellent command of spoken and written in English and Nepali 

Functional competency

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to advocate and provide policy advice 
• Promotes organizational learning and knowledge-sharing;

Core competency:

• Demonstrates strong leadership and sound judgment
