Overview: Mechanical Transport (MT) department British Gurkhas Kathmandu (BGK) is a very busy dept supporting all the transport requirements of the Unit in Kathmandu in support of BGN outputs and missions in Nepal. BGK MT Drivers need to be highly skilled, focused, and agile to perform their duties up to the British standards in line with the demanding schedules of the dept, with perfection and high calibre. Success Profile: The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in understanding their duties and be familiar with all relevant Health and Safety awareness. They will also have knowledge of equipment care. Should have communication skills in both English and Nepali, navigation skill, and a good sense of road safety awareness. Be physically fit and capable to undertake arduous work. Candidates must hold the driving license category A, B, F, G and ensure their experience and qualifications meet above written requirements.
