Women’s Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC) is a national level NGO working for women's human rights and to ensure women empowerment through protection and promotion of human rights and social justice focusing on campaigns against violence against women, and women's economic, social and cultural rights nation-wide. Our working districts with offices are spread over Morang, Sunsari, Udayapur, Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Dang, Kailali, Rukum and additional working districts are Rupandehi, Kapilvastu, Kanchanpur, Jajarkot, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Kavrepalanchok and Saptari district.  The Central Office is located in Lalitpur.

1. Position: District Coordinator

Duty Station: Rukum

Duration: 1 year, extendable

Reporting: Program Coordinator/ Executive Director

Position Description:

The District Coordinator (DC) reports directly to Executive Director (ED) and works in close coordination with program and finance department. The DC takes lead role and works in close coordination with the Program manager, Coordinators, Program Officers and other staffs in achieving the goal and objectives of WOREC. She/he is mainly responsible for organizational development and management, program development, implementation and quality management, documentation, stakeholder communications and coordination with local stakeholders. She oversees the district program themes: Human Rights and Social Justice, Ecological Justice and Women’s Leadership and Quality care in an integrated approach including planning, implementation, monitoring and tracking all projects that have specified deliverables.

2. Position: Program Officer

Duty Station: Dang

Duration: 1 year, extendable

Reporting: District Coordinator/Program Coordinator

Position Description

The Program Officer will work under direct supervision from Program Manager, District Coordinator and Program Coordinator. She/he will lead overall implementation of Addressing Trafficking in Person/ Gender Based Violence (GBV) and Human Rights Defenders Program in district level, track implementation and achievements to ensure accountability and efficiency of program.

Program Officer works in close coordination with concerned Manager, Coordinators and WOREC's networks in achieving the goal and objectives of programs. Program Officer is mainly responsible for implementation of the programs in district level, event coordination, periodic reporting, organizing workshops and Interaction programs as per planning of project document, supervision of field staff, engaging in data collection, select youth champion of respective districts, regular monitoring of the program of field level, close coordination with finance officer, district team and project team, documentation, communication with stakeholders, publication and coordination with central office and communities.

3. Position: Admin and Finance Officer - 2

Duty Station: Based in Dang and Dhanusa (with frequent travel to other districts)

Duration: 1 year, extendable

Reporting: Senior Finance Coordinator

Objective:

The Admin and Finance Officer will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial and administrative functions of WOREC. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations. She/he will also be responsible for managing administrative tasks of the field office according to the needs.

4. Position title: Psychosocial counselor/outreach - 2

Duty Station: Rukum and Dang

Duration: 1 year, extendable

Reporting: District Coordinator/Program Coordinator

Position Description

The Psychosocial Counselor, who reports to the District Coordinator, offers tailored psychosocial support to trafficking and GBV survivors as per the psychosocial counseling service guidelines. This includes individual counseling, group therapy, and community-based psychosocial support activities to enhance the mental health and well-being of survivors, facilitating their recovery and empowerment. The counselor visits the community level and collect the data of trafficking survivors.
