Good Neighbors Nepal (GNN) is the Non – Government Organization (NGO) registered in 2002 with the objectives of improving the lives of people, especially community through education, livelihood activity, health services, wash, advocacy, emergency Medical Service. GNN invites application for the position of Dispatcher for Nepal Emergency Medical Service Dispatch and Response Project funded by Rotary International and technical supported by the Nepal Medics. 

Job Title: Dispatcher – Health Person

No of Position: 1

Job Location: Dispatch Center, Dhading District Hospital

Contract Period: 4 Months (Jul-October 2023)

Reporting to: EMS Project Manager

Required qualifications and experiences: 

• Health Assistant, Staffs Nurse qualification.
• CMA, ANM with minimum 3 years of experiences on related field
• Strong communication, documentation, dissemination and skill in operating computer.
• Willing to work as serving heart for the patients due to emergencies.
• Highly motivated, flexible, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Honesty and learning attitude for the dispatch center
• Character of devoting for EMS system

Area of Responsibilities: 

• Dispatcher will be main responsible for the operating the dispatch center
• Daily update Emergency Communication Call (ECC) 
• Receive call in dispatch center within 3 ringtone and responds to public as their inquiry
• Keep well-functioning computer and preparedness of emergency equipment for mass casualty management
• 24hrs will stand by stay at dispatch center coordination with local level authority
• Maintaining confidentiality for any information or data collected from the patients 
• Update the information of Rural First Responders, Ambulance and its drivers
