DCA is a Danish humanitarian and Development organisation with a vision of a world without hunger, poverty and oppression, in which popular and political powers constantly work strongly and actively for just and sustainable distribution and use of the earth’s resources. We have been supporting development work in Nepal since the 1980s. DCA’s works are focused on reducing inequality and promoting inclusion of the most marginalised communities in some of the most remote and vulnerable regions of Nepal, applying a rights-based approach.

Research consultant for GCF readiness
As part of its growing emphasis on climate action, DCA seeks to strengthen its climate action by aligning with Green Climate Fund (GCF) interventions under their Strategic Plan (2024-2027) and collaborating with GCF stakeholders; National Designated Authority (NDA), accredited entities and other relevant key stakeholders in DCA CO’s. For this, proactive engagement at the national level with relevant stakeholders will leverage and provide DCA with valuable knowledge, networking, and experience in climate action.
This Terms of Reference (ToR) is developed for qualified consultant to support DCA Nepal in conducting a comprehensive assessment and positioning DCA Nepal for GCF readiness.
