Consultant for Communications Service
DCA is a non-governmental, faith-based, non-missionary, development and humanitarian organization that works in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe. Since the 1980s, DCA has been working in Nepal, guided by the Country Programme Strategy that aligns with the Government of Nepal’s development plans, Global Sustainable Development Goals, and DCA’s international strategy. DCA aims to create a world that is free from hunger, poverty, and oppression. DCA Nepal Country Office works for the poor, vulnerable and socially excluded communities and believes in life before death. Our everyday work with development and relief aid strives to help the oppressed, neglected, and marginalized groups in our focus countries in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa to strengthen their possibilities of a life in dignity. Nepal Programme is involved in three thematic areas: Save Lives, Build Resilient Communities and Fight Extreme Inequality and cross-cutting commitment: Gender Equality and Climate Change.
This ToR is designed to solicit consultancy services from qualified consultants or organisations to undertake various tasks including video production, photography, equipment hiring for shooting videos, video editing, and boosting content on social media. The consultancy will involve seeking support of experts and consultants such as television journalists, digital content creators, and print media journalists for capacity building of staff and partners. The aim is also to connect with media journalists from DCA project areas to support the recording of footage, pictures, and interviews, and to broadcast DCA's work across provincial and regional television, social media platforms as well as to publish articles, press releases, and other documents in mainstream media, to enhance DCAs visibility and other communications support in need. The services provided should align with the three thematic areas and cross-cutting commitment areas
