Consultant- Data Enumerator

Shechen Karuna Nepal is working in Nepal since 2020 with the vision to create a just society without poverty, a society in which all women and men live a life of dignity, enjoy their rights as active citizens of Nepal. Shechen Karuna works in close coordination local governments and civil society organizations to support marginalized, socially excluded and economically poor communities. 

Consultant- Data Enumerator - Few

Duty Station: Khaniyabas RM: ward no. 3 and ward no. 5

Ruby Valley RM: ward no. 1 and ward no. 4

Duration: 2 months (Tentative May to July) 

Main Responsibilities: 

• To coordinate with the local level, ward office, health facility, FCHVs and Teachers for the Mass screening program. 
• To conduct home visit and monitor the BMI, BP, Blood sugar, Kidney function test (KFT), and collection of the quantitative data from the individuals as per the assigned questionnaire.
• To entry the collected information on Kobo toolbox. 
• To report the assigned activities in the daily and weekly basis to the supervisor. 
• To do immediate reporting of the case of hypertension, blood sugar, Kidney problems to the health post after screening. 
• Also, support for the management of the cases of hypertension, blood sugar and Kidney problems.

Other Responsibilities: 

• Mass screening of the community people by home visit. They will measure BMI, BP, blood sugar and kidney function test. 
• Qualitative Information collection from individuals based on the assigned questionnaire.  
• Kobo toolbox entry of the collected information. 
• Monthly Timesheet submission

Requirements:

• A person who has passed ANM/AHW/HA/Diploma in Pharmacy/Lab Assistant/Staff Nurse courses from recognized college. Higher education will be advantaged
• The individual should have android phone to do the data entry of Kobo Toolbox  
• The individual who is local and have proficiency of Tamang language is preferred
• Sensitivity to Gender and Cultural Considerations
